The Okuma Travertine series of Baitfeeder Reels are sure to interest anglers who enjoy bait fishing with top quality tackle. The Baitfeeder system allows the reel to be set in free spool so that fish can naturally take the bait without feeling any resistance. In order to set the hook and strike, a turn of the handle or moving the Baitfeeder lever down brings the gears and front drag into action. An additional drag at the rear of the reel allows slight pressure to be used to control bait drift in a strong current. Internal features include four stainless steel ball bearings plus an anti-reverse bearing, making it ideal for saltwater environments.
